Walked along the city walls and explored the beautiful but very hot Cartagena! Sat down at the wall and studied some swedish and spanish while the sun set over the Carribean sea.
Drinking rum and coke and celebrating one of the girls birthdays at our hostel. We stayed at the hostel Makako Chill Out and shared a dorm with 9 other people, boiling hot but a bit of fun!
Colombian crêpes and waffles! Waffles filled with dark chocolate, white chocolate and nutella... the best waffles we've ever had!!
On our way to a Sunday flea market we stumbled across a crazy Colombian street parade. It went on for hours across about 100 city blocks! There were school marching bands, dance parties on trucks hundreds of salsa dancing groups even on stilts, celebrities (not that we recognized them), sporting teams and all sorts of other crazy things... but the funniest thing was that even with all this going on most people were more interested in starring at the tall red head guy and his white blonde girl!
Every monday people walk or crawl up the mountain just to visit this church. According to the legend you can't visit the church as a couple, then you'll never get married...
Påågy stayed at the hostel, she was very sick so I went exploring by myself. I rent a bike for an hour and then I walked all the way up to central park.
After the Yankee stadium game we went back to the hostel, changed clothes and followed the looooong Broadway street up to see WICKED!!! WOW!! What a good show!
En otroligt bra show, häftiga scenkläder och mycket bra sångare, sedan strosade vi omkring i ett nattligt vackert New York.
Trots 39 graders feber och gigantiska halsmandlar står jag på benen och är lycklig för att jag är i ett soligt underbart New York!:))
We got two tickets to see Yankee vs NY angels at Yankee Stadium. We took the train to Bronx where Yankee stadium is located. The sun was shining and we got two seats in the sun, boiling hot! We bought a box with chips and the game kept on going for 3-4 hours...
